What is a Same-Day Restoration?
Placing a dental crown, inlay or onlay typically requires more than one visit to the dentist. However, using CEREC technology, our Weyburn dentists can perform the entire procedure in one easy, convenient visit.
The CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) system allows for the fabrication of same-day ceramic dental restorations. Our dentists use CEREC technology to place veneers, crowns, inlays and onlays in just one appointment.
Dental Crowns
These porcelain caps are placed on top of teeth to restore their function and appearance. Crowns are used to cover implants, attach bridges or repair a cracked tooth. They can also restore a discoloured tooth to its natural appearance.
Veneers
Veneers are razor-thin pieces of tooth-shaped, custom-made porcelain. They are bonded to the front of your natural tooth to help improve the colour, shape and symmetry of your smile.
Inlays & Onlays
when damage is too extensive for a standard dental filling, inlays and onlays are tooth-coloured porcelain fillings used to repair cavities. They are typically used for molars.
